Comments

As an administrator or moderator of a website, you have full control over the comments posted under articles.

Who can comment

Depending on site settings:

  • Comments can be posted by all users or by registered users only;
  • Коментарите могат да се показват директно, след AI модерация или след ръчно одобрение.

By configuring the site it allows to limit the number of comments (max_attempts) that a user can post in a certain period of time (decay_minutes). Furthermore, it is possible to include artificial intelligence to moderate comments, as well as to set different coefficients for automatic moderation. Various options can be enabled or disabled within the site configuration, such as allowing users to reply to other comments, to express their approval or disapproval of comments, and to report comments that do not follow the community rules.

    Management via the administration panel

    Activity

    • Active comment - the comment is public and available to all users of the site.
    • Inactive comment - hidden from users, but remains accessible in the admin panel with information (author, date, etc.).

    Delete

    • Comments can be deleted completely. This action is unrecoverable.

    Status change

    You can change the visibility and status of comments:

    • Promoted – the comment stands out with a different colour;
    • Silenced – the comment is displayed with reduced transparency;
    • Rejected – in place of the comment, a message is displayed that it has been hidden by a moderator. The content is not available to users;
    • Approved - status for internal use, no visual change to the site;
    • Pending – status for internal use, no visual change to the site.

    Automatic voting actions

    If comment voting is enabled:

    • Comments with a negative algorithm score (usually above 0.10) are automatically hidden.
    • Hidden comments can be opened and viewed by the user if they wish.
